Global Communication

Global communication is communicating is communicating with people all around the world. (Ask.Com) This communication comes in many forms and has benefited people all around the world and is constantly evolving.  Global communication has advanced in many areas such as the use of cell phones, internet usage, education, consumer industry, and traveling. This I will address in the following
Cell phones are one global communication that has advanced dramatically.  Cell phone usage began in the 1970’s and was used primarily for the government and businessmen.  In the 90’s it advanced to be a major role in communication for the average person and was more affordable. (Phones)After the initial use of everyday cell phone usage then came the use of communication devices known as pagers.
The World Wide Web internet usage has dramatically advanced over the past years.  The advancement increased the amount of people that purchase a computer and obtain internet access.  This World Wide Web access has allowed people all over the world to communicate and do things that before were not easily possible.
The advancement of the World Wide Web on another note has increased consumer sales across the world.  For example, the use of EBay originated in 1995 has allowed people all over the world to view and purchase items that may not have been accessible otherwise. This has not only increased the benefits of the business across the world but the lifestyle of many.
In the light of education the global communication has increased the opportunities of students of all ages across the world.  On a personal note this advancement has created opportunities for me and many people I know, an opportunity that may have otherwise not been an option. Today every college offers the option of internet based learning and even learning abroad.
Another aspect that has advanced through global communication is in the area of traveling.  The advancement has allowed worldwide travels amongst all people across the world for many different reasons.  Years ago it was not have been a simple task to plan a vacation and book a flight to another country for business reason and/or personal reasons.  A family in the United States can plan a trip to Saudi Arabia assuming they have obtained the proper paperwork.  The travels of people do not only increase the economy benefits but also the people’s experience.
The advancement of global communication has created obvious and inadvertently opportunities for people of all races and backgrounds to explore their options no matter where they live.  The constant communication will better our societies and create awareness of all religions and customs.  This alone I perceive to be nothing but a benefit for all people of all nations.
